Parts of this song were created out of a sense of frustration but the lasting overall tone is one of reassurance. I say frustration because some parts were written from a place where I felt I wasn’t getting the exposure I thought I deserved and at this level (i.e. not a major label
artist) you have to deal with a lot of people who think they’re bigger, better and more important than they are (2nd verse). I say reassurance because it’s not “my fault” they’re stuck in their own little worlds and by the time they wake up, I’ll be well on my way to achieving my own goals and ambitions.
